In addition, she has been the instructor at Corkscrew Shores for 2 years. During this time, Nora has organized and been the lead teacher on 3 yoga retreats to Costa Rica. The retreats include journalling, meditation, yoga in various styles, excursions and spa amenities. Nora is forever a student of yoga. She has studied with numerous teachers and taken continuing education workshops on yoga anatomy, business of yoga and the history of yoga to name a few. All of these experiences continue to influence the style of yoga she teaches and happily shares with all who come in contact with her.
In addition to teaching yoga, Nora is a recently retired full-time high school Algebra 2 teacher. She will tell you, “Yoga has been a saving grace. It calms my mind, aligns my body, balances my energy and leaves me feeling more open and available to those around me. I try to bring these qualities to my teaching in a joyful, fun hatha style class. The classes are unfixed, intuitive, determined by the class that day, and the energy of the room.”
