About the Instructors

Melissa McIntosh, E-RYT 500

Melissa McIntosh is an E-RYT 500, YACEP, 200-hour RYS Owner & Lead Teacher, Personal Trainer, Reiki Master, and practitioner of Ayurveda and holistic coaching. She is also a proud mom, devoted wife, outdoorswoman, avid hiker, and someone who truly loves life.

For over 21 years, Melissa has been sharing the transformative practice of yoga. She believes yoga is a powerful vehicle for healing, growth, and self-discovery. Throughout her journey, she has been deeply honored and grateful to study with renowned gurus, swamis, lamas, and exceptional teachers from diverse traditions, each of whom has enriched her path.

Melissa is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive space where students can deepen their practice, reconnect with themselves, and discover their fullest potential. Her mission is to empower others to embrace their authentic selves and live with greater balance, purpose, and joy.

Diane Wiggins, E-RYT 500

Diane Wiggins is an E-RYT 500, Yin Yoga Specialist, Gentle Somatic Practitioner III, Reiki II, YoQi Qigong Certified Teacher.
Specialist, Gentle Somatic Practitioner III, Reiki II, YoQi Qigong Certified Teacher.

During the mid-1990s, while a Ph.D. student of English Literature, Diane found herself in her first yoga class—she instantly fell in love. Her stressed-out nervous system and over-taxed brain found release. The tension in her body, wrecked from hours of study, melted away. As she began to practice Yoga regularly, she felt re-energized and balanced. And thus, Diane’s Yoga quest began. Everywhere she went, she sought out teachers: in person, through books and eventually on the internet.

After many years with thousands of hours of personal practice and some teaching, Diane officially certified as a Yoga teacher.  During her continuing journey toward healing, she has pursued many specialty trainings, especially focusing on Yin Yoga as well as Gentle Somatic Yoga.  Her insatiable quest led Diane to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She delved deeper into Yin Yoga that fused TCM principles. During this time, she discovered the gift of Qigong. Subsequently, she studied through the YoQi Qigong Flow School, recently finishing their certification program. Qigong, another healing art, especially targets the energy body. She credits this practice for transforming her life, strengthening her vitality and allowing her to live with abundant presence.

She treasures the wisdom from her teachers: Melissa McIntosh, James Knight, Bernie Clark, Paul Grilley, Jo Phee, Marisa Cranfill and so, so many others. And Diane is grateful and delighted to share their wisdom as well her practices with others. She says, “It is part of my purpose and gives me so much joy to inspire others into accessing self-healing abilities, to finding their natural rhythms and developing an inner peace through guided (and spontaneous) movement and meditation. Together we nurture and protect our vitality as we grow into radiant beings.”
