Belize Yoga experience was ultimate.
Best Vacation Ever! Thank You for this amazing once in a lifetime experience!
Amazing - one of the best experiences of my life :-)!!!!
We know that international group travel requires loads of planning to run smoothly, and that organizing and leading a retreat can leave instructors in need of another vacation. That is why we handle all the details (from marketing to booking to escorting). You can focus on yoga, we do the rest.
Among the many benefits of planning a retreat with Belize Yoga, we will:
Step 1: Select the retreat package that would best appeal to your students, Eco-Adventure or Caribbean Hideaways. For details on the packages, click here.
Step 2: Submit the compensation inquiry form (next tab) to inquire about availability for your group and to receive instructor compensation details.
Step 3: After reviewing details and confirming that your week is available, Belize Yoga will then create a Retreat Reservation Agreement for you.
Step 4: Submit the Retreat Reservation Agreement and deposit to reserve your week.
Step 5: Belize Yoga creates customized marketing materials for you and profiles your retreat on our website. Start telling your students about your amazing upcoming retreat!
Retreat Selection Process:
(Recommended to be more than 270 days from the start of desired retreat date)
Instructor(s) work with Belize Yoga to determine their retreat package, estimated size, and dates. A contract (Retreat Reservation Agreement) is drawn up by Belize Yoga that includes compensation structure, benchmark details, and cancellation fees. Retreat is not reserved until instructor(s) returns signed contract and deposit.
180 Day Enrollment Benchmark
Student enrollment should be approximately 50% of the estimated retreat size at this time. If less than 50% of the estimated retreat size has been met, Belize Yoga and Instructor(s) will work together to reduce the estimated retreat size.
120 Day Enrollment Benchmark
Student enrollment should be approximately 90% of the estimated retreat size at this time. Any open rooms are released, and additional registrations after this point are not guaranteed until confirming with Belize Yoga. Students may be subject to a late-registration fee, based on flight availability.
Instructor Cancellation Fees
Cancellation of retreat by instructor more than 180 days prior to retreat = return of deposit less $250 cancellation fee
Cancellation of retreat by instructor less than 180 days prior to retreat = loss of deposit
Any registered students will be offered a refund of their deposit if the retreat is cancelled by the instructor more than 90 days prior to retreat.
Instructor(s) do not receive any credit towards minimums or compensation for any students that register and then cancel at any time prior to retreat start date.
Partner Resort and Tour Modifications:
If at anytime before Retreat start date, Belize Yoga determines that a partner resort /tour company is not meeting service and/or facility requirements (under construction, fire or weather damage, change of ownership, etc...) Belize Yoga reserves the right to substitute an alternate partner resort/tour company of equal or greater quality.
All group events, activities, and transfers are paid for at time of booking. Therefore, Belize Yoga is unable to offer refunds for any unused portion of the retreat. If weather or any other event causes an excursion or activity to be cancelled, Belize Yoga will make every effort to reschedule that event or find and alternative, but cannot offer refunds for any itinerary changes or cancellations.
All airline tickets are purchased in the name of the traveler and are the property of that traveler. The traveler is responsible for any changes they make to their ticket, including rescheduling in case of missed flight. If a traveler cannot attend the retreat, they own their plane ticket and, if applicable, can arrange with the airline to transfer or reschedule their ticket.
All group members must travel on flight itineraries as specified by Belize Yoga. Any member of the group that arrives late or leaves the group early is subject to pay for all transportation arrangements in Belize to catch up with the group. Belize Yoga can help arrange for this transportation.
Checked baggage allotments vary by airline. It is the responsibility of the traveler to pay for any checked baggage fees not included in their airline ticket. Belize Yoga will purchase the base flight (including all taxes and fees), but any additions not included on ticket (such as in-flight meals, beverages and check baggage) are payable by the traveler.
Late arrival or early departure from retreat
In the event that your arrival to or departure from the retreat is delayed for any reason (including, but not limited to: weather, mechanical difficulties, airline delays, political unrest, etc.), Belize Yoga cannot offer any refunds or compensation for any losses incurred. It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain travel insurance if they so desire. Belize Yoga will make every attempt adjust the retreat and provide assistance in such instances. Traveler is responsible for all incurred transportation and airline fees associated with late arrival or early departure.
A valid passport is required to enter Belize. American and Canadian citizens do not need a visa to enter to Belize, but Canadians transferring in the U.S. en route may need an American visa. It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure that they have all proper documentation for the duration of the retreat.
Additional services and charges
Travelers are responsible for all additional charges incurred at resorts that are not specified in packages. These items can include, but are not limited to: gratuities, any additional food or beverages, additional tours or spa treatments, laundry service, communication services, etc. It is the responsibility of the traveler to understand what items are included in the retreat, and what items are additional. Any such charges must be paid before departure of the the resort.
Changes to policies
Belize Yoga reserves the right to review and adjust terms and policies. A retreat will refer to the terms posted at time of departure.
